WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by standards SAE (USA), Q/WG (GG) (China), several Russian TUs as well as commercial grades of several steel companies. Information on grades included in several ASTM (USA), DIN (Germany), JIS (Japan), AS/NZS (Australia / New Zealand), ISO standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 224,984 now.

WinAlloy. In comparison with the previous data update we added Al based alloys by GOST 2685-75 as well as special Ni- and Co-based alloys of several countries.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 121,902 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 14 new mills and managing companies was added in the database. Russian manufactures of ribbed pipes, roll-formed profiles, forgings, welded I-beams are among them.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 766 plants including 77 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new workshop launched by Gazpromtrubinvest company, new equipment installed at Abinsk Electric Steel Works, KRASNY OKTYABR Volgograd Iron and Steel Works, VologdaMetallopttorg, Korolev Tube Plant and Yalutorovskiy Autoworks as well as on new products developed by 13 plants. Information on 72 mills included in the database earlier and on their products and traders, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 10 new plants and managing companies was included in the database. These are Russian and Kazakh manufacturers of copper cathodes, bi-metallic ribbed pipes, cast rods and bushes of copper alloys.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 370 plants including 12 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new equipment installed at Kamensk-Uralsky Non-Ferrous Working Plant as well as new products developed by 2 plants. Information on 27 plants included in the database earlier and on their products and traders was updated.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by standards ASTM, ASME (USA), YB/T (China), JIS (Japan), EN ISO (Europe), GOST, GOST R, GOST ISO, GOST R ISO, OST, TU (CIS countries), ISO. Information on grades included in several ASTM, AWS (USA), EN ISO (Europe), SEW (Germany), BS (UK), JIS (Japan), GB, GB/T (China) standards as well as on grades included in Russian Maritime Register of Shipping was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 224,470 now.

WinAlloy. In comparison with the previous data update we added alloys by EN (Europe), GOST, GOST R ISO (CIS countries) standards. Information on copper alloys included in several EN standards as well as on grades included in several ISO standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 121,423 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 14 new mills and managing companies was added in the database. Manufactures of seamless and welded tubes, roll-formed profiles, wire, forgings, welded I-beams, balls from Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are among them.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 773 plants including 77 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new equipment installed at Byelorussian Steel Works, Donetsk Metal Rolling Works and Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works as well as on new products developed by 9 plants. Information on 68 mills included in the database earlier and on their products and traders, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 3 new plants and managing companies was included in the database. These are Metallurgical Company MVS, Rusnickel and Stupino Titanium Company.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 336 plants including 12 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new products developed by 8 plants. Information on 28 plants included in the database earlier and on their products and traders was updated.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by standards API (USA), JIS (Japan), GB, GB/T, YB/T (China), IS (India), ISO, by new editions of the most popular Russian standards GOST 1050-2013, GOST 5632-2014, and GOST 19281-2014 as well as by several other GOSTs and TUs. Information on grades included in several ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), JIS (Japan), GB/T (China) standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 216,035 now.

WinAlloy. We continued to adjust information on grades included in European (EN) standard. In comparison with the previous data update we added alloys by JIS (Japan), GOST, GOST R, TU (CIS countries) standards. Information on grades included in several EN (Europe), DIN (Germany) and JIS (Japan) standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades and the adjusment the total number of grades included in the database is 113,113 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 12 new mills was added in the database. Manufactures of various kinds of tubes, roll-formed profiles, wire, forgings, welded I-beams from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Armenia are among them.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 758 plants including 77 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new equipment installed at ELECTROSTAL Plant as well as on new products developed by 9 plants. Information on 61 mills included in the database earlier and on their products and traders, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 8 new plants was included in the database. These are producers of pigs, plates, rods, bands, foil, wire rods of Cu-, Al- and Pb-based alloys from Russia and Kazakhstan.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 369 plants including 13 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new products developed by 2 plants. Information on 39 plants included in the database earlier and on their products and traders was updated.

WinSteel. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by standards EN (Europe), SAE (USA), GB, GB/T, TB/T (China), IS (India), AS (Australia), NS (Norway), KS D (Korea), international standard UIC, commercial grades of several steel companies as well as rebars by CS2 (Hong Kong). Information on grades included in several ASTM, SAE (USA), DIN (Germany), GB/T (China), IS (India), OST (CIS countries), UIC standards as well as in ship-building standards GL - Germanischer Lloyd and DNV - Det Norske Veritas, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database is 214,464 now.

WinAlloy. We continued to adjust information on grades included in European (EN) standard. In comparison with the previous data update we added alloys by EN, CEN/TS (Europe), GB/T (China) standards, Mo alloys by several TUs (CIS contries) as well as commercial grades of several companies. Information on grades included in several EN (Europe), OST (CIS countries) standards as well as in ship-building standards GL - Germanischer Lloyd and DNV - Det Norske Veritas, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades and the adjusment the total number of grades included in the database is 109,263 now.

WinPlant. BLACK. Information on 20 new mills and 1 new managing company was added in the database. Manufactures of various kinds of tubes, long products, wire, forgings, roll-formed profiles, welded I-beams from Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia are among them.

Now WinPlant. BLACK database contains information on products of 747 plants including 77 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new equipment installed at three mills as well as on new products developed by 7 plants. Information on 59 mills included in the database earlier and on their products and traders, was updated.

WinPlant. RED. Information on 2 new plants and 2 new managing companies was included in the database. These are UralKotloMashZavod, Chemical-Metallurgical Plant by name E.A.Yudin as well as Kazakhmys Holding and Stroygazconsulting Group of Companies.

Now WinPlant. RED database contains information on products of 370 plants including 13 plants of non-CIS countries.

We added in the database information on new products developed by 2 plants. Information on 17 plants included in the database earlier and on their products and traders was updated.

With data update of 4th quarter of 2014 all current WinSteel and WinAlloy users will receive renewed versions of the software. In the renewed versions at request of our users we improved the software usability and added additional service features:

1. Time of run of network versions of the software when the database files are loaded in a PC memory, was significantly reduced.
2. We changed structure of presented information on a grade on the Other designations page. Now on this page you'll find not only list of other designations of a grade with reference to standards but names of the standards also (extract the correspondent branch of the grade tree to get access to this information).
3. We changed format of Excel (XLS) file when save information on a grade. The new format is more easy-to-read.
4. In list-boxes of grades and standards as well as during the search by composition and properties you can not only select a country for search but fix it by default now. The right mouse button is used to fix a country you need when you have selected it.
5. During the Search by composition and properties when you use the Context search it is possible to use "regular expressions" now. The regular expressions enable for example to realize AND & OR logical functions when you search by several words.
6. Possibility to minimaze the software window to the system tray when you click the minimize button of the software window or run the software. The possibility is realized with help of winsteel.add or winalloy.add setup files.
7. When you turn off your PC the software is closed automatically now.
