WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by EN (Europe), ASTM, SAE, SAE AMS, AWS (USA), CAN/CSA (Canada), JIS (Japan), GB/T, YB/T (China), BS ISO (UK), AFNOR NF (France), TIS (Thailand), SI (Israel), DSTU EN ISO (Ukraine), STB (Belarus), TU (Russia), TS EN (Turkey), ISO standards as well new commercial grades of Severstal. Information on grades included in EN (Europe), ASTM, SAE AMS (USA), DIN (Germany), BS (UK), JIS (Japan) standards as well as on grades of Bureau Veritas, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 15,000 grades to 381,748 grades now.

During the last calendar year (4th quarter of 2018 - 3rd quarter of 2019) 36,790 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on 4 new mills and 2 new managing companies. These are Izhevsk Tube Rolling Plant and Kazan Tube Rolling Plant, producer of concast billets and rebars Tula-Stal, producer of sheet roll-formed profiles K-Stroj, TPK and managing companies Uralmashzavod and ESAB-SVEL. 11 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 647 plants including 69 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 28 mills as well as contact data of 43 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by EN (Europe), SAE, SAE AMS (USA), GB/T, YB/T (China), GOST (Russia) standards. Information on grades included in ASTM (USA), DIN (Germany), GB/T (China) standards as well as on grades of Bureau Veritas, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database grew by near 4,500 grades to 217,870 grades now.

During the last calendar year (4th quarter of 2018 - 3rd quarter of 2019) 14,802 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 2 new plants was included in the database. These are manufacturer of products of In-based alloys Kerrmet and Mcensk Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant. 4 plants was deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 371 plants including 9 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 10 plants as well as contact data of 33 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by EN, EN ISO (Europe), ASTM (USA), CSA (Canada), JIS (Japan), DSTU (Ukraine) as well as by ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards as well as in SAE AMS (USA), EN (Europe), JIS (Japan) standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 11,500 grades to 366,972 grades now.

During the last calendar year (3rd quarter of 2018 - 2nd quarter of 2019) 36,293 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on 2 new mills. These are Alchemet - Russian producer of Al-Zn coating wire and Russian-Kazakhstan Mayak Company, LLP - new Kazakh asset of Mayak Group, manufacturer of roll-formed profiles . 4 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 654 plants including 69 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 23 mills as well as contact data of 47 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by EN (Europe), ASTM (USA), BS ISO (UK), DIN EN (Germany), JIS (Japan), GOST (Russia), ST TOO (Kazakhstan) as well as by ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards as well as in EN (Europe) and JIS (Japan), was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database grew by near 11,000 grades to 213,528 grades now.

During the last calendar year (3rd quarter of 2018 - 2nd quarter of 2019) 21,951 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 4 new plants was included in the database. These are Plant of Foundry Billets - Russian producer of bronze and brass bushes, Copper Smelter Plant "Casting" LLP - Kazakh producer of pigs, ingots and casting tubes of copper alloys, Prom-Garant Promyshlennye Technologii - Russian producer of pigs of Al- and Zn-based alloys and Revda Metalware-Metallurgical Union - Russian producer of bronze bushes. 1 plant was deleted from the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 378 plants including 9 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 12 plants as well as contact data of 15 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), NB/T (China), WES (Japan), BS ISO (UK), GOST R, GOST (Russia), DSTU (Ukraine) as well as by UIC and ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards as well as in API, AWS, MIL (USA), GOST (Russia), ISO standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 11,000 grades to 355,420 grades now.

During the last calendar year (2nd quarter of 2018 - 1st quarter of 2019) 39,020 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on 5 new mills and 4 managing companies. New assets of TMK Truboplast, TMK NGS-Buzuluk, TMK NGS-Nizhnevartovsk and their managing company TMK Neftegazsesrvis, Kazakh and Belarusan producers of welded tubes Astana Metal Pipe Plant and SARYARKA, Pipe Factory as well as Kirovsky Zavod, United Company "Akras Dia", Siberian Industrial Group JSC are among them. 19 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 653 plants including 69 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 35 mills as well as contact data of 46 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), GOST, GOST R (Russia) as well as ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards as well as in AWS (USA), JIS (Japan), GOST (Russia) and ISO standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database grew by more than 3,500 grades to 202,603 grades now.

During the last calendar year (2nd quarter of 2018 - 1st quarter of 2019) 22,517 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 4 new plants was included in the database. These are Russian producers of wire rods AKRON HOLDING and EXPERT-CABLE Cable Works, producer of bus-bars, wire and trolley wire of copper alloys Copper Element and producer of wire of Fe-Cr-Al alloy Siversky Hardware Plant. 5 plants were deleted from the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 375 plants including 9 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 13 plants as well as contact data of 27 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

Starting with release of 1st quarter of 2019 we made the following changes in the software and databases of WinSteel and WinAlloy.

1. Update of the software.

• Possibility to export information on grades and their equivalents in XLSX files, is added.


• It is possible to save information on grades from the Notepad on hard disc of your PC now. This enables you to use this information in next sessions of operation with the software.

2. New countries in the database: Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan.

Due to the issue of new standards of some CIS countries, we added the following new countries in the database: Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan. At the same time, CIS countries in the list of countries was replaced by Russia.

In this data update we related

• grades produced by DSTU, DSTU EN, DSTU ISO, DSTU EN ISO, DSTU GOST, TU U standards, to Ukraine,
• grades by STB, STB EN, TU RB standards, to Belarus,
• grades by ST RK, ST RK GOST R, ST RK EN, ST RK ISO, TU RK standards, to Kazakhstan,
• grades produced by AZS standard, to Azerbaijan.

All other grades produced by GOST, GOST R and TU standards, remained in Russia.

We understand that these changes will somewhat complicate search for grades for our users from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan as they will have to look for the necessary grades and their equivalents not only in their own countries, but in Russia also. In the next release of the 2nd quarter of 2019, we will slightly change the software settings and will solve this problem.

WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by EN, EN ISO (Europe), ASTM (USA), GB/T (China), GOST, TU, STO Gazprom (Russia) standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by near 4,500 grades to 344,241 grades now.

During the last calendar year (1st quarter of 2018 - 4th quarter of 2018) 38,498 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on 9 new mills and 2 managing companies. Russian producers of tubes and pipes TatProm-Holding, Tekhmash, Kolpino Pipe Plant and Chelyabinsk Plant of Profile Pipes, manufacturers of welded I-beams Amur Metal Construction Plant and Ural Metalworks Plant, producers of corrugated steel sheet profiles in Mytischi and Troitsk, producer of coated steel sheets and coils Roskamasteel are among them. 38 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 663 plants including 69 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 59 mills as well as contact data of 113 mills included in the database earlier, was updated.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by EN, EN ISO (Europe), GOST (CIS countries) as well as ISO standards. Information on grades included in a lot of ASTM standards, was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database grew by more than 2,000 grades to 198,926 grades now.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 2 new plants and 3 managing companies was included in the database. These are Russian producer of corrugated sheets of Al alloys Mytischi Plant of Corrugated Profiles and manufacturer of rods and band of Co-, Ni- and Cu-based alloys Special Metallurgy Technology. 8 plants were deleted from the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 376 plants including 9 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 9 plants as well as contact data of 53 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.
