WinSteel 10 Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), JIS (Japan), GB/T, JB/T, Q/BQB (China), BS ISO (UK), GOST R (Russia), ISO (International) standards as well as commercial grades of Nissan company. Information on grades included in several API, ASTM (USA) and GB, GB/T (China) standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more then 2,500 to 506,149 grades now. The total number of steel standards referenced in the database, is 21,952.

During the last year (4th quarter of 2021 - 3rd quarter of 2022) 48,556 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel 10 Producers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on Russian producer of rolled long products Surgut Metallurgical Complex. 3 plants were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 544 plants including 46 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 29 mills as well as contact data of 25 mills included in the database earlier, was updated. 3 companies changed their owners and/or names.

WinAlloy 10 Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM (USA), EN (Europe), GB/T, JB/T, YS, YS/T (China), GOST R (Russia) standards.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 1,100 grades to 314,930 grades now. The total number of non-ferrous standards referenced in the database, is 16,999.

During the last year (4th quarter of 2021 - 3rd quarter of 2022) 13,387 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy 10 Producers (former WinPlant. RED). Mcensk Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant was deleted from the database as it was liquidated.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 339 plants including 6 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 20 plants as well as contact data of 6 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

Since August 1st, 2022 we introduce new costs for our software. There are two reasons:

• costs for the desktop and web versions should be the same,
• USD / EUR rate has been changed.

All the below costs assume payment to our French partner SAS SIMDEX and include its comission. In case you are able to pay us directly to Russian bank, 20% discount is available.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by near 10,000 to 503,582 grades now. The total number of steel standards referenced in the database, is 21,770.

During the last year (3rd quarter of 2021 - 2nd quarter of 2022) 59,663 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel 10 Producers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on CYBERSTEEL company which is new independent mill created on base Pervouralsk Novotrubny Tube and Pipe Plant, producer of coll-formed seamless stainless tubes. 6 plants were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 546 plants including 47 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 17 mills as well as contact data of 21 mills included in the database earlier, was updated. 4 companies changed their names.

WinAlloy 10 Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM, SAE (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), BS ISO (UK), GB/T, YS/T (China) standards as well as by International ISO standard. Information on grades included in 13 ASTM standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 3,800 grades to 313,793 grades now. The total number of non-ferrous standards referenced in the database, is 16,902.

During the last year (3rd quarter of 2021 - 2nd quarter of 2022) 20,549 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy 10 Producers (former WinPlant. RED). 2 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business. 8 plants temporarily suspended their activities.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 340 plants including 6 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 7 plants as well as contact data of 6 plants included in the database earlier, was updated.

New web versions of our WinSteel and WinAlloy software have been issued. Unlike the previous online versions, they are fully function and can easily replace existing desktop software versions. The online versions allow you to solve the same problems as desktop ones, namely:

• search for information on steel (alloy) in the database and its foreign equivalents,
• selection of similar grades by chemical composition, properties (only for steels) and application, in case an exact equivalent doesn't exist,
• search for steel or alloy designation by known composition,
• selection of steels with required values of mechanical properties,
• search for manufacturers of steel and non-ferrous products you need, in the countries of the former USSR.

At that, you can work with the new WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online web-application not only on PC under Windows, but also

• on any computers, including Apple MacBook, as well as on any tablets,
• under any operating system, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, etc.,
• using any browser - Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera and many others.

It is possible to work with WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online on any smartphones also, but it won't be quite comfortable because of their small screens.

During the last year (2nd quarter of 2021 - 1st quarter of 2022) 70,428 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on new Southern Mining and Metallurgical Company which is new managing company of Enakievo Iron and Steel Works, Makeyevsky Iron and Steel Works and Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works. 12 plants were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business. 2 mills resumed their activity and were added in the database again.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 551 plants including 47 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 34 mills as well as contact data of 52 mills included in the database earlier, was updated. 7 companies changed their owners or names.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM, AWS (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), BS ISO (UK), GB/T (China), GOST (Russia) standards as well as by International ISO standard. Information on grades included in ASME BPVC (USA) standard and in one GOST standard was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 10,000 grades to 309,985 grades now. The total number of non-ferrous standards referenced in the database, is 16,673.

During the last year (2nd quarter of 2021 - 1st quarter of 2022) 26,636 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 2 new plants was included in the database. These are Russian manufacturers of products of copper alloys Ryazan Metallurgical Company and Fosfohim. 4 companies were deleted from the database as they were liquidated, reorganizated or changed their business.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 351 plants including 6 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 17 plants as well as contact data of 19 plants included in the database earlier, was updated. 2 companies changed their owner or name.

New WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online are available now. Their difference from the existing online versions, which have limited functionality, is that the new WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online are full-featured and may replace the existing desktop versions.

You can operate with WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online on any computer (including MAC) or on any tablet under any system (Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, etc.) using any browser. You can run the new versions on any smartphone also, but we think that a small screen of a smartphone will not allow you to operate with the software with maximum efficiency.

Visually, the new WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online are very similar to the desktop versions and provide almost the same search features. Users who are operating with the existing desktop versions will easily master how to work with the new online versions.







Now new WinSteel 10 Online and WinAlloy 10 Online are tested by our users. We plan to officially issue them in early July.

WinSteel - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added new grades by ASTM, SAE, API (USA), EN, prEN (Europe), JIS (Japan), GB/T, YB/T, Q/BQB (China), DNV-OS (Norway) standards. Information on grades included in ASTM, API (USA) and GOST R (Russia) standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 29,000 grades to 481,437 grades now. The total number of steel standards referenced in the database, is 20,996.

During the last year (1st quarter of 2021 - 4th quarter of 2021) 61,944 new grades were added in WinSteel database.

WinSteel - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. BLACK). We added in the database information on new company RSL Group which is new managing company of KRASNY OKTYABR Volgograd Iron and Steel Works. 1 plant was deleted from the database as its production of steel balls is cancelled.

Now WinSteel - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 562 plants including 47 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 16 mills as well as contact data of 6 mills included in the database earlier, was updated. 1 company changed its owner.

WinAlloy - Grades. In comparison with the previous data update we added non-ferrous alloys by ASTM (USA), EN, EN ISO (Europe), BS ISO (UK), GOST, GOST R (Russia) standards as well as by International ISO and ISO/FDIS standards. Information on grades included in 26 ASTM standards and in 2 GOST standards was updated.

In a result of the addition of new grades the total number of grades included in the database, grew by more than 4,300 grades to 299,615 grades now. The total number of non-ferrous standards referenced in the database, is 16,358.

During the last year (1st quarter of 2021 - 4th quarter of 2021) 31,546 new grades were added in WinAlloy database.

WinAlloy - Manufacturers (former WinPlant. RED). Information on 1 new plant and 1 new managing company was included in the database. These are new asset of RUSAL Tayshet Aluminium Plant and new managing company of KRASNY OKTYABR Volgograd Iron and Steel Works RSL Group.

Now WinAlloy - Manufacturers database contains information on products of 353 plants including 7 plants of non-CIS countries.

Information on products of 17 plants as well as contact data of 8 plants included in the database earlier, was updated. 2 companies changed their owner or name.
